Our Artists

Vickie began exhibiting at the Island Art Association (IAA) in Fernandina Beach, FL in 2014. Prior to that time, she fulfilled a lifelong desire to study oil painting by taking classes from Cleda Curtis Neal, a professional painter in Oran, Missouri. Vickie currently focuses mainly on painting from the beautiful landscapes and seascapes of the area. Subjects for paintings derive from walks on the beach or through marshes from which she takes many photographs. Her aim is to share with the viewer the natural beauty that she is fortunate to experience. Vickie is involved in the Island Art Association and the Plantation Artist’s Guild & Gallery. She was named Artist of the Year for 2017 at IAA.
