Emily lived in the Middle East for over half her life. She has a fascination for the sensual shapes, colors and designs of Arabic, Moorish and Byzantine architecture. She communicates this passion in her work.
Her startlingly modern, and colorful mixed media paintings, consist of multiple layers of acrylic paint, interlaced with paraffin and resin, boldly combining gold and silver leaf. The final product is often nearly three dimensional.

This unique style of art evolved through years of extensive experimentation. Her paintings consist of trademark Middle Eastern doors, as well as minimalist, abstract designs.Some of Emily’s latest collection, “The Haunted South” are hanging in Canada, Europe and Australia. Her extensive work can be found worldwide. They are featured in palaces, corporate board rooms, hotels, private villas, super yachts, international airports, and even a permanent installation on a large executive jet.
