Walt has used photography to record images ranging from metal microstructures to fine art.  His earliest published photograph graced the cover and accompanied an article in the Welding Journal back in April 1968.  He is a Metallurgist by training and specializes in welding research and process development.  On Amelia Island, he has concentrated on wildlife, architecture, relics from the past, and is always on the lookout for whimsical subjects.
