Susan moved to Fernandina Beach in 2006 and returned to painting full time after a career in higher education administration.   She has a BFA in painting, drawing and graphics from The Ohio State University.  Susan is working primarily with watercolor and oils.    Her current work studies the patterns and colors seen in local landscape and vegetation, as well as those she encounters in her travels throughout the southwest and Newfoundland.
