SHARON HAFFEY

Sharon recently moved to Fernandina Beach, Florida after having lived in 12 other states where she came to  appreciate the scenery unique to each of those environments. In addition to formal art studies at Ohio State University, she has studied at the Spruill Center for the Arts in Atlanta, and spent two seasons as an Artist in Residence at the Nantucket School of Art and Design.  Her current focus is to explore more energizing landscape techniques utilizing acrylics and oils.  Her paintings, colorful, bold, and playful, are designed, not to depict a realistic imagine, but a sense of place.
