INVITATION TO LOCAL ARTISTS:  The Island Art Association invites residents of Nassau County who are interested in becoming exhibiting artists in the Co-op Gallery to join the Association.  Membership requirements include being an IAA  member for 3 months and learning about working in the gallery and on committees before submitting work for the Jury Committee which will convene this Fall.  Interested artists may stop by the gallery at 18 N. Second Street for a membership form or leave their name for the Gallery Director to call.  Telephone number of the gallery is 261-7020.

Created by the IAA Photographers Group, this beautiful show is set to background music and features more than 100 beautiful shots of Amelia Island, people, places, wildlife and many of the outdoor activities available on this tiny island paradise.

SUMMER DROP-IN LESSONS WITH GEORGANNA

Members Website Information:  Exhibiting members may update photos of their work on the member pages and on biographical data pages.  Individual members are  invited to send a digital photo to be included on the membership page.  In addition, a link can be established to members' personal websites by furnishing the website address.  If you have questions, contact Pat Hooks, 277-2597 or send photos to Pat's personal e-mail address which is listed in the membership yearbook.  Images should be in jpeg format, preferably at 72 dpi resolution, and a size not to exceed 5x7.

Board Meetings - Normally 4 p.m., first Thursday each month.  All members invited.

General meetings - 7 p.m., second Tuesday each month (except June-August) with artist demonstrations/refreshments.  All welcome! 

Artrageous Artwalks - 5-8  p.m., Second Saturday of each monthEnjoy new art - be refreshed.  Visit our gallery location as well as other participating galleries and studios.  

Children's Art  - Last Saturday of each month, 10:30  am - 12:30 pm.   Free guided art activities for school age children are provided by  local artists.  Materials furnished.   Please confirm schedule and register your child by calling the Co-op Gallery.

Photographers Group - Normally meets on fourth Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. in Gallery Studio.  Presentations, demos, field trips, exhibits and critiques.  Call Gallery to confirm schedule.
